ServSafe Workplace is a new suite of training programs that focuses on creating and sustaining a safe and appropriate work environment for all employees. The programs are rooted in the cultural and social issues affecting today’s restaurant and hospitality work environments, and focuses on mitigation and management of issues associated with the work and safety of employees and will assist in strengthening every establishment’s stance against harassment in the workplace. Two components are available:
Understanding Unconscious Bias in Restaurants – this interactive program was designed specifically for employees and managers working in food service. Developed in conjunction with the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA), the course shines a light on this issue with realistic scenarios meaningful to your staff.
Sexual Harassment Prevention for the Restaurant Industry is an interactive program designed specifically for employees and managers working in food service.
ServSafe Workplace equips employees and managers with training to help manage emerging risks and advance the positive culture of the foodservice and hospitality industries. The programs combine online training to create consistent messaging, while providing additional free resources such as breakroom posters, videos, and discussion guides to reinforce key training points.
