The 18th Annual Blue Ridge Open Charity Golf Classic will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Hanging Rock Golf Course in Salem, Virginia. Started by Virginia’s Blue Ridge Hospitality Association in 2007, this event helps to raise scholarship funds for deserving students in our region who are committed to the hospitality and travel industries.
Since 2012, proceeds from this event has generated over $200,000 in scholarships for local students majoring in hospitality. Tourism is a growing industry within our region, and it is critical that we continue to develop our future leaders.

Tournament Rules
- 11:30 AM Shotgun Start
- Two (2) flights grouped together by handicaps
- Four (4) person captain’s choice
- No minimum drive required
- Ties settled by matching scorecards backwards from #18
- VSGA rules govern play, as modified by local rules
