Mariano Tatenco, Certified Grill Master and Culinary Professional, Manassas, VA
Mariano Tatenco, Certified Grill Master and Culinary Professional, has been with Red Lobster for 13 years. His motto is, “If you’re not proud of your dish, don’t serve it.” He is devoted to making every plate delectable. Tatenco works behind the scenes in the kitchen but is often in the dining room engaging with guests and providing first rate service.
To achieve success, Mariano believes in the power of collaborating and sharing ideas. “Don’t be afraid to share your ideas with the restaurant team or leaders,” he advised. “Just say it. Don’t be afraid to speak up!” Mariano believes anything is possible when you are willing to collaborate and have the right attitude. “Not everyone works the same,” he said. “It’s important to focus on moving forward and working as a team.”
“Mariano is always looking for ways to better the restaurant,” said Jesse Green, General Manager for the Manassas Red Lobster. “He has gained the respect of his fellow team members through his dedicated work ethic.” Mariano’s leadership in the kitchen has made him a vital part of what makes the Manassas Red Lobster team a big success!
