Alert Department of Labor Overtime Regulation Action Alert

Partnership to Protect Workplace Opportunity

We learned late yesterday that the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) would not extend the comment period for its proposed changes to our nation’s overtime regulations which were issued on July 6, 2015. AH&LA submitted a request for a 60 day extension of the comment period on July 14th, but the DOL waited until August 31st to deny that extension.

With the comment period closing this Friday, September 4th it is critical that the Department of Labor hear from members this week. It’s fast and easy. Click Here to Take Action in Less Than 60 Seconds »

Why Millenials Don't Want to Work for You

I came out of school with a B.A. and a culinary degree and you want me to spend nine hours a day peeling potatoes or holding down the deep-fry station?
